For this wedding at Grovefield House Hotel (@GrovefieldHotel) the bride and groom chose these enchanting sage green sashes for their chairs. The couple decided to add an extra special touch to the chairs for the Top Table, so we tied the additional white sashes in our Rose Knot with leaves style. The couple had chosen the colour of their sashes and the tying styles during a personal consultation. This consultation enabled them to see our complete range of over 220 colours of sashes and try out different options, including the different tying styles, before they made their final decisions.
For this wedding at Cantley House Hotel (@cantleyhotel) the bride chose delightful aqua shimmer satin sashes for her chairs. From all of the sashes in our range this colour was exactly the right shade for the bride’s colour scheme. We tied the sashes using our pretty Rose Knot style. The florist supplied beautiful flowers in shades of ivory, peach and coral which complimented the aqua sashes perfectly.
For this wedding at Easthampstead Park (@easthampstead) the bride chose a wonderful coral satin for her decorations. The bride picked this particular shade from our extensive range of fabrics because it matched her colour scheme exactly. This vibrant coral was a perfect match for the bridesmaids’ dresses and the cravats worn by the groomsmen. We dressed the chairs with chair covers designed specifically for the chairs before tying the sashes in our Butterfly Bow style. The Top Table was decorated with Swags and Tails made from the same fabric as the chair sashes so everything matched perfectly.
If you are hosting an event and want table runners to co-ordinate with the theme we can dress the tables with table runners made from the same fabric as your chair sashes. We have over 220 colours to choose from.
We can make the table runners to fit different sized tables. They can be used on oval guest tables such as those at Cantley House Hotel (@cantleyhotel) or round tables like those at The Mill House Hotel.
We can also make custom length runners to fit long tables. These can be used at weddings to dress the Top Table, for example at Crowne Plaza, Reading (@cp_reading). Alternatively they can be placed down the centre of long private dining tables as shown in the events at Taplow House Hotel (@Taplow_House) and The Mill House Hotel. We will liaise with you and your venue to determine the size of the table being used and then make the table runner exactly the correct size.
When we fit the table runners we ensure that they are perfectly straight down the length of the table, with an equal amount of drop at both ends.
All of our table runners are hand made by us and are properly edged to prevent fraying. They are made from the same fabric and colour as the sashes and so coordinate perfectly.
If you would like your table decorations to co-ordinate with your chosen colour scheme, we can dress your tables with Swags & Tails made from the same fabric as your chair sashes.
Our Fitted Swags & Tails service includes professional fitting on site as well as all the clips, pins and additional sashes for tails required. All the Swags & Tails are custom made in coordinated fabrics and are available with our inclusive fitting service. The swags sections are made from the same fabric as the sashes and so coordinate perfectly.
Swags & Tails can be used to decorate Top Tables, as shown in the examples at the Aviator (@aviatorbytag), The White House (@PH_Hotels) and The Mill House. They can also be used to dress Cake Tables, as we did at Taplow House (@Taplow_House) and Monkey Island, or even the Registrar’s table for during the ceremony.
The Swags & Tails can be fitted using a single colour or by using a combination of colours so that they match the chosen colour scheme exactly.
For this attractive wedding at Grovefield House Hotel (@GrovefieldHotel) the bride chose these gorgeous aubergine silky satin sashes. The bride wanted this particular shade of purple because it was the exact match for her bridesmaids’ dresses. We dressed the chairs in our perfect fit stretch covers before tying the sashes in our Butterfly Bow style and then made sure that all of the sashes and the chairs were lined up beautifully. The lovely flowers supplied by the florist were made using the same colour so complemented the scheme very well.
When planning an event the use of colour can be so important. There are many different ways in which colour can be used and colour schemes are very unique to each client and each event. At Beau Events we have over 220 colours to choose from so the options available are endless. There is no need to choose just one colour for your chair sashes. We have dressed several events where a variety of colours have been chosen for the colour scheme. The following examples show some events at The Mill House Hotel and The Watermill Theatre (@WatermillTh) where different colours were used together with amazing results.
The first event was a wedding anniversary celebration where the sashes were several different bright shades of organza, tied in an alternating pattern around each table. These specific colours were chosen by the client to co-ordinate with the flowers on the tables. The flowers supplied by the florist were reminiscent of those used on the actual wedding day.
The second event was a wedding with a Disney Princess theme. The couple had great fun designing each table’s décor around the different Disney Princesses. We worked closely with the couple as they chose which sashes went with each Princess’ theme. Mulan had cerise pink, Jasmine from Aladdin had purple, The Little Mermaid had turquoise, Snow White had red and Aurora from Sleeping Beauty had pale pink.
The third event was a wedding where the couple chose their sash colours to co-ordinate with the different coloured antique vases they had collected. The couple grouped the vases together based on the main colours in their patterns. One table had vases which were mainly orange and another where they were mainly pink. The other colours used were green, light blue, brown and purple. In each case the sashes were carefully chosen from our range by the bride and groom so that they complemented the colour scheme for each table. The couple did their own flower arrangements cleverly matching them in to the colour scheme for each of the tables.
The last event was a birthday party where the client chose the coloured sashes which most closely matched the dress she was going to wear. We tied the sashes in an alternating pattern around each table. The birdcage centrepieces, supplied by the client, also contained flowers in each of the colours.
At Beau Events we pride ourselves on the way that we tie our chair sashes, for us it is a work of art. Over the years we have developed many different ways to tie sashes so we have a wide range of tying styles to offer our clients.
For those wanting a single coloured sash tied in a bow, we have perfected our Butterfly Bow style. This can be adapted to become a Double Butterfly Bow for clients who choose to have a second coloured sash as part of their scheme.
For events where bows are not really appropriate, such as corporate events, we can offer our clients an alternative option by tying the sashes in our Corporate Knot style.
Whichever tying option our clients choose, they can be certain that all of the sashes will be tied perfectly. We always ensure that the sashes are all tied the same way as each other, with the bows or knots all the same size. The tails of the sashes are all pointing the same way and are all the same length. The sashes are all the same height on the chairs are aligned so that they are all perfectly straight.
No event is rushed, with each one getting the level of attention that it deserves to make it a truly special event for our client.
For this intimate 50th Birthday lunch in the glamorous Garden Room at Coworth Park (@CoworthParkUK), the client chose simply stunning white shimmer satin sashes for her chairs. The white sashes provide a beautiful contrast against the hotel’s own chair covers. The elegant look was completed with the gorgeous centrepieces supplied by the florist.
Our client has provided us with this feedback following the event:
Just wanted to say a huge thank you for the sashes, they were beautiful and exactly what I wanted! I was very emotional when I walked into the room, it couldn’t have been any more perfect and the highchair was so pretty!
Coworth Park said they would keep them all safely for you as normal.
Many thanks again for helping to make the day such a wonderful one.
If you have chosen your venue for your wedding or special celebration and you really like the chairs without having them covered, you can still decorate them with sashes to co-ordinate with your colour scheme. The following examples show events we have dressed where sashes were tied directly to the chairs without having chair covers on first.
At Farnham Castle (@FarnhamWeddings) the bride loved the wood of the chairs as it complemented the venue so well. However she still chose exquisite sky blue shimmer satin sashes tied directly on the chairs to complete the look that she was after.
At the Mill House Hotel in Swallowfield, the bride had her wedding reception in the stunning marquee which has attractive Chiavari chairs. The bride chose pale pink and ivory taffeta sashes tied together in a rose style to bring her colour scheme in to the room.
At Clock Barn (@clockbarn) the chosen colour scheme was cerise pink and orange to co-ordinate with the flowers. The bride chose to have both colours for the sashes but opted to have them tied directly on to the wooden chairs which go so well with the barn setting.
At Cantley House Hotel (@cantleyhotel) the bride had a colour scheme which incorporated various pastel shades. She chose the different sashes from our range which gave her the look she wanted without having chair covers on the Chiavari chairs.
