About Chair Covers

White chair covers in ceremony layout

Ceremony layout of chairs, expertly fitted and aligned with precision

Chair covers are typically used for special events. They are about creating a sense of occasion.  Most often chair covers are then adorned with a coloured sash around the back of the chair which is tied in place using a special bow or knot.

Chair covers are most often coloured white but we would recommend that the chair cover matches the table linen.  So if your venue uses ivory linen then most likely you will match that with ivory chair covers.  This is not a ‘hard’ rule and as this is your event then only you can decide.  Review the options at a consultation at the venue before you commit so you know what you are getting for your money.

Black is also a popular colour for chair covers when the colour scheme suits it, or when the event is not a wedding but a evening party or similar.

Want something different? Unique? Alternative? How about our stunning new chair sleeves and ruffles?

Made from romantic chiffon, our chair sleeves are a new alternative to chair covers. They fit a wide variety of chairs and even most with arms. On the back of the sleeve we attach a custom made ruffle. The ruffle is made from coloured chiffon and ivory lace. In this example from one of our recent weddings, the ruffle is made in a mint green.
